This is a fantastic experiment. I have used it to reinforce a variety of different topics; thermal expansion, gas laws, molar gas volume, kinetic theory etc.
Hot water is poured on the dolls head and then quickly immersed in water. The weeing man is then placed on a table and boiling water is poured on his head. The man starts to wee for about ten seconds. Great introduction to kinetic theory or as a homework to try and explain how the toy works.
This is not the most politically correct toy going. A friend bought me this one from his holiday in the far east but you can get clowns and fountains that do exactly the same!
