This is a fantastic experiment. I have used it to reinforce a variety of different topics;

I use this to reinforce the serious problems of sulphuric acid formed from the combustion of sulphur in fossil fuels. After watching the effect it has on the sugar we discuss what effect we believe it has on human tissue and other living objects.
